Edwards Hart Consultants is proud to announce that our director, Professor John Edwards, has been appointed to jointly author new guidance on the inspection of buildings that have been retrofitted, for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The guidance will be jointly authored with Professor Richard Fitton of the Energy House at the University of Salford. Professor Edwards will concentrate on building fabric issues, but the guidance will be jointly authored.
Professor Edwards said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to develop this guidance, drawing on my professional experience and research. I am also delighted to work again with Professor Richard Fitton, with whom I previously worked on British Standards through BSI.”
The guidance is expected to be published by the end of September and will be freely available from RICS.
