Free webinar on applying PAS 2035 to older buildings

Once again, the Edwards Hart expertise in traditional building retrofit has been recognised. Our Director and traditional building retrofit expert Professor John Edwards will be sharing his knowledge and expertise by delivering a webinar on applying the new PAS 2035: 2023 to traditional buildings. At the request of the Institute for Historic Building Conservation, this one-hour event takes place on the 15th of December 2023 at 10 am.

PAS 2035 is a standard developed for the retrofitting of dwellings of all types and ages including traditional and historic buildings. This webinar will generally introduce the recently published 2023 version and focus on its application to traditional and historic buildings and the role of ‘BS7913: 2013: Guide to the Conservation of Historic Buildings’ in complying with PAS 2035. At the end of the webinar, you will have an awareness of PAS 2035 and what’s it for, an understanding of the different roles and the competencies and qualifications required for each of them. In addition, an outline in how to apply PAS 2035 and what outcomes are likely to be achieved in different circumstances.

Professor Edwards is Chair of the IHBC’s Technical Panel. He first commenced the retrofit of buildings in the 1980’s concerning building fabric and building services.
