Edwards Hart have been appointed to develop a construction quality management certification scheme for the Chartered Institute of Building. This will be completed around mid-2020 and will allow those working within the construction industry to demonstrate that they are competent in managing quality in the area of construction. Leading the project at Edwards Hart is Director Professor John Edwards who said: “This is such an important piece of work for the construction industry to help to improve its standards and its reputation”. Professor Edwards added: “We have in the past few years developed expertise in competency analysis, bench marking and development of competency schemes along with related research with clients that have included the FMB, CIOB, CITB and the UK Government”.
