The Pro Heritage Project funded by the EU aims to develop knowledge and learning resources for deployment in the energy efficiency and retrofit of traditional and historic buildings. It will have a specific focus on learning resources for tradesmen and women with project partners in Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and England.
Edwards Hart are providing both educational and subject expertise which has included the development and delivery of workshops, production of learning resources, advice on knowledge and skill requirements and a ‘train the trainer’ programme.
Edwards Hart Director Professor John Edwards said: “This project draws upon our wide range of expertise in research, education and training as well as energy efficiency and retrofit”. Professor Edwards added: “One of the most interesting aspects of this project, is working in different countries with different climates and our deep-rooted expertise in energy efficiency will serve us well”. The project will run until 2022.
