The final main phase of this major refurbishment project to a Grade 2 listed building in Sunderland has just commenced with lead consultant Edwards Hart specifying and designing the work, largely based on their in depth pathological analysis of the building. The work is aimed at putting the building into good repair after many decades of suffering from the trapping of dampness. The work includes  bespoke solutions to dampness but also much improved ventilation and renewable energy technologies. Other work involves structural repair, rebuilding of chimney stacks, repointing face brickwork, lime rendering, repairs to underground drainage, new bathrooms and kitchens.
