Brewing began in the 18th century and ceased in 1998. The Malt House which dates to 1852 is a substantial stone building of five storeys in height. It is grade 2 listed and being converted into apartments. Edwards Hart are undertaking a hygrothermal assessment and advising on the treatment of walls and the management of moisture.
