Cadw has published its reminder that owners must now submit a heritage impact statement with any listed building or conservation area consent application. Cadw writes: “If you are the owner of a historic building, don’t forget that you must now submit a heritage impact statement with any listed building or conservation area consent application. This requirement has been in force since 1st September last year, when it replaced a similar one for a supporting design and access statement in the listed building consent process”. Edwards Hart have expertise in producing Heritage Impact Assessments and Heritage Impact Statements and can help building owners and other consultants with these legal requirements in Wales. These requirements, in the context of building conservation are explained in the webinar delivered by Edwards Hart Director Professor John Edwards.
